Val-Brillant is located on its South shore.

Matapedia Lake is perfect for summer activities:

• Sailing: the lake is perfect for any type of crafts and Val-Brillant has a marina with many services.
• Kytesurfing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, windsurfing...
• Fishing (lake charr, brook trout, ...)
• Swimming: you will find numerous beaches with uninterrupted views of the lake.
• Scuba-diving: in 2004, a fishing boat was sunk off the marina and is an interesting dive spot.

From January to April, the frozen lake offers numerous activities:

• Snowshoeing
• Snowmobile
• Snowkyte is a fast-growing sport. In 1999 and 2008, Val-Brillant hosted the WISSA (World Ice and Snow Sailing Association) and over 75 athletes from all over the world.
